So over the past month or so, I have been working on a new logo design for the Stereophonics. Every time they release new music, they rebrand the band and logo, and like to use up and coming artists for this. I was very much lucky to be in the right place at the right time. A woman saw my house portraits on Instagram and asked me to draw one for her. I was obviously very excited about this. It then turns out that she is the wife of the lead singer of the band. All very lucky.
I can’t really discuss many of the details, but Kelly saw the text on my website and really liked it.
I then did various designs for him and the band, and we settled on this design. Below is a poster released by the Stereophonics with new dates for the band on, with my logo.
